Delayed Forgiveness: Combating Our Struggle to Receive Forgiveness

Temptation, guilt, and sin, oh my! All of us have to come face-to-face with these in our lives. Whether we have been walking with Jesus for a long time, for a short time, or not walking with Jesus at all; we all have to face the reality of sin. The solution to the sins we commit is Jesus. Jesus provided the payment for our sins, but what if another struggle exists? What if we struggle to receive the forgiveness Jesus has for us? We live in a world that demands we earn everything we want so why not try to earn forgiveness from God? Delayed Forgiveness is a journey to see how God does not withhold forgiveness from us, nor does He require a payment for it! By looking at the life of King David we can see how powerful the reality of immediate forgiveness is for all of us.
