City Life is a series 27 oil paintings by the artist Michael D. Koch that depicts modern New York from the late 90's to recent times. Inspired by the French Impressionists and the American painters Edward Hopper and John Sloan, Koch wanted capture the city he moved to inspired by their approach to painting cities and bring that to his series on New York.
