RV Parks, and Hiking Trails within this book provide hundreds of names, street addresses, towns, postal Zip codes, and Global Positioning System (GPS) references. SEARCHABLE:Amazon Kindle e-books have a 'Search' provision that will allow you to search on any of the data within. To find a specific location use the Index at the end of the listing to find the location and type or copy and paste that name into the 'Search' box, the program will find the information for you. Thus purchase the E-Book version if you want to be able to search the contents. If you do NOT know the specific name of the location, then type in the postal Zip, or the Town name, or the street address, or GPS number. This will provide you with a listing of all names at the location you plan on visiting or you seek. MAPS:There are 1,300 locations, and thus there would have to be 1,300 Maps included in this book, and each location would need a map from where you start out your trip to where you want to be. This is why the author provides GPS, so you can map out your location, the locations you want to go to, and the time and distances involved. USING GPS:Once you have the name and location GPS, you can enter that number or name into a Mapping program like Google Maps tm along with your starting location and find the best route, the driving times, and the distance to the location you seek from any GPS location in Canada, Mexico, or the United States. HIKING TRAILS:Hiking trails frequently start from a road or street and then branch out into other trails with other names. Thus, many of the trails ONLY have GPS coordinates as each starts or stops in the wilderness, and NOT at an access road. PHONE NUMBERS & INTERNET ADDRESSES:Most hiking trails do not have a phone number, and most of the campgrounds listed do, but frequently change these numbers, and their Internet addresses so that if published this book would become obsolete very quickly. The author thus as opted to NOT include either. AMENITES OFFERED:Hiking trails have none so to speak, and campgrounds and RV parks may have some, none, or more than you can count. The author did research these amenities that many offer, but found that due to time of week, day, month, year, etc., amenities can change; after all a swimming pool in the summer may be an ice rink in the winter. As places grow or change hands, the offerings frequently are added or subtracted from the amenities listing, and therefore you should be looking for the most up to date amenities; i.e. contacting the company or organization for their latest hours, dates, reservations, and amenities. That way you will not be disappointed when you find that the Olympic pool you expected has been turned into a skateboard rink. (Yes, it happened to the author more than once) .
