Advances in Nanotechnology

Nanotechnology is the study of the controlling of matter on an atomic and molecular scale and is also very diverse, ranging from extensions of conventional device physics to completely new approaches based upon molecular self-assembly. This book gathers and presents data on nanotechnology, including the formulation for local magnetically mediated hyperthermia treatment of solid tumors; synthesis and applications of gold nanoparticles; dendritic nanostructures grown in hierarchical branched pores; fabrication and applications of aligned nanofibers by electrospinning; nanotechnology applied to solar cells for energy solutions; and environmental applications of nanomaterials.
