[LIBRARY EDITION Audiobook CD format in sturdy Vinyl Case with cloth sleeves that keep compact discs protected.]

[Read by Patrick Lawlor and Melanie Ewbank]

From a master of romantic suspense comes the first in a hot new series that spins off her wildly popular 'Troubleshooters' books, featuring sexy Navy SEALS and pulse-pounding romance. -- Suzanne Brockmann's seamless blend of heroic military action and intense passion inspired USA Today to call her ''a superstar of romantic suspense'' -- and for years her award-winning 'Troubleshooters' books have been must-reads for fans of sizzling stories of action and adventure. Now the New York Times bestselling author shoots to thrill again with Do or Die, an electrifying new novel that is certain to win Brockmann new readers and delight devotees. -- Navy SEAL Ian Dunn went rogue in a big way when he turned his talents to a lawless life of jewel heists and con jobs -- or so the world has been led to believe. In reality, the former Special Ops warrior is still fighting for good, leading a small band of freelance covert operatives who take care of high-stakes business in highly unofficial ways. That makes Ian the hands-down choice when the US government must breach a heavily guarded embassy and rescue a pair of children kidnapped by their own father, a sinister foreign national willing to turn his kids into casualties. Shockingly, Ian passes on the mission for reasons he will not--or cannot--reveal. -- But saying no is not an option--especially not for Phoebe Kruger, Ian's beautiful and unexpectedly brash new attorney. Determined to see the abducted children set free, Phoebe not only gets Ian on board but insists on riding shotgun on his Mission: Impossible-style operation, whether he likes it or not. -- Though Phoebe has a valuable knack for getting out of tight spots, there's no denying the intensely intimate feelings growing between Ian and Phoebe as the team gears up for combat. But these are feelings they both must fight to control as they face an array of cold-blooded adversaries, including a vindictive Mob boss who's got Ian at the top of his hit list and a wealthy psychopath who loves murder as much as he loves money. As they dodge death squads and play lethal games of deception, Ian and Phoebe will do whatever it takes to save the innocent and vanquish the guilty--or die trying.

My Review: Suzanne Brockmann is back with an INCREDIBLE new series. Yes, I received this book for review and was at the 20% point in the book when I set my Kindle down to get online and order the hardback edition of this book for my keeper shelf. It was that good and throughout reading it, it just kept getting better and better. In true Suzanne Brockmann fashion there is a whole cast of characters in this book and I fell in love with every one of them. It's gonna be such a good series. At the heart of them though is Ian. He sacrificed everything and went to prison to save his brother Aaron and his gay partner Shel and their son Rory from Shel's crazy mob-boss father who is willing to kill his gay son and anyone involved with him. Everyone in the group (or Ian's team) knew about Ian's sacrifice except his brother. Ian is a former SEAL and has this team of people that he's always worked with on security matters. His brother, Aaron, was a Marine. Aaron's partner, Shel, was also a Marine and is the team's computer guru. Shel's sister, Francine, is just an all-around, no-fear, badass. Added to this group are attorney's, Phoebe and Marstell, who come and free Ian from prison...which totally screws up the deal he had with the crazy mob-boss. They free him because the government needs his help without any acknowledgement that he's actually helping in a diplomatic/security issue. Rounding out the team are FBI agents, Deb and Yashi. And for Troubleshooters fans out there, the FBI agents report to Jules although he's never actually in the book. Confused yet? Yeah, there's a lot going on, but it's all so good. From the moment the book begins, the action and drama is pretty much non-stop. I loved Phoebe and Ian together. Ian is one of those guys...always relaxed and cool-headed, regardless of any situation he's in. That's what makes him so good at his job. Phoebe messes him up though and he can't keep his crap together around her. I loved that and how she always kept him on h...
