FBI Special Agent Aloysius Pendergast finds himself in a bind when several of his friends are found murdered. As the prime suspect, Pendergast must elude authorities as he attempts to find the murderer. Much to his horror, Pendergast soon discovers that his embittered brother may be the culprit. Now, Pendergast must go toe-to-toe with the most cunning killer he has ever encountered.
