The Lilac Fairy Book

Lang is known for being a poet, novelist, literary critic, and contributor to anthropology. He is most famous for his folk stories and fairy tales. The Coloured Fairy Books are a 12 book set. The stories in these books came from oral traditions. Many came from other languages and Lang was the first to bring them to English speaking readers. This series would be a perfect end of the school day read for teachers to share with their students.
