Ever since Liss MacCrimmon was forced to leave her Scottish dance company, Strathspey, because of a Knee injury, she has missed life on the road. Now the dance troupe is visiting Moosetookalook, Maine, where Liss has been living for the past seven months, and she decides to throw a reception in their honour.The party, following a Scottish theme and featuring "cocktail scones," is a hit - until Victor Owens, the company manager, bites into a scone, collapses and dies.
