In Weakness There is Strength

This is a fantastic book that teaches us many lessons while also being a great read. The story is well written, well paced and easy to read. The characters are well defined and very believable. You can relate to all the characters well. One lesson learned is that nobody is perfect, and if they think they are, they are fooling themselves. Riley Keep was a former missionary along with his wife Hope. Now, Riley is a drunk, begging on the streets, and desperate to forget a past he lost in one act of wickedness.... or did he. Then he hears of miracles happening in Dublin, Maine. Alcoholics are being cured. Can it be? Through a series of events Riley gets the 'cure' and also comes into possession of the formula for this cure. What happens from here will take Riley back to his wife and daughter. With them he will be trying to work his way back into their good graces. His wife has a 'friend' Dylan who has been at her side since about a year after Riley disappeared. Dylan loves Hope and even asked her to marry him. Hope never did. Hmm... This is a really great story and I recommend it highly. It is such that I recommend it for all age groups as well as men and women alike. For those who do get this book, I suggest you read the Afterword by the Author. It is well written and explains why he chose to write the story as he did. I think he was right. Read more
