Grade 4-7–With a new Hulk movie rumored to be in the works, the comics might be making a comeback. While these books dont have the thematic elements found in classic Marvel comics, theyll still hold kids interest. In Green Men, aliens have taken control of the city of Roswell and are preparing to wage war on the planet. Hulk meets a girl who has the ability to turn into an alien but doesnt know it. He relates to her ability to change into a different person because he, too, can change his appearance–an interesting theme that is not fully developed. He helps her destroy the enemy and thus save the world. The illustrations do a good job of showing Hulks rage, but the aliens resemble Spock from Star Trek and dont fit the story well.
