Bill the dog is bored. How bored? REALLY, REALLY bored. In fact, Bill is so bored that he can't even move. Mrs. Pickle, Bill's owner, is never bored. Mrs. Pickle reads, gardens, cooks, cleans and is even a kung fu expert. But Bill won't have any of it. Mrs. Pickle tells him "Only boring dogs get bored". One day Mrs. Pickle drags the unmoving Bill off for a walk and while they are walking a huge gust of wind lifts them both up and off their feet. Bill is spun up into the air and into SPACE! "At last", he thinks, "no more boring walks for me. Space will be REALLY exciting." But what happens when Bill lands on a planet and meets the aliens who are… BORED? It's up to Bill to bring their boredom to a stop and while doing so he learns a few lessons himself on how exciting life can be!
