Agatha Christie's second novel, "The Secret Adversary", is the story of the out of work couple Tommy Beresford and Tuppence Cowley who form the partnership "The Young Adventures, Ltd." The two quickly become involved with a mysterious individual by the name of Mr. Whittington and then later because of this involvement, the British intelligence agency. Quickly a mystery is underway.
