I CONSIDER THIS PROOF: Near Death Experiences - Personal accounts from 462 individuals

Concept of my data book: Those that have had a Near Death Experience (NDE) and those that have an interest in NDE's crave details (personal accounts) on events that help them validate their experience or their views. This, to them, becomes elements of proof, building one upon the other. Conversely, skeptics await the "scientific proof" or, more appropriately, use the lack of "scientific evidence" to dismiss those experiences and experiencers accounts, painting them as influenced by medical pharmaceuticals (hallucinations) or some long list of technical theories to debunk the experiences. As an individual very interested in the subject since the mid 1970's, I have read many books and frequent top tier websites as a consumer. I recently realized the "proof", to me, was the abundance of firsthand accounts right in front of me. As a technical professional from the Nuclear Power industry, I realized that portraying the large number of "key elements" (consistent aspects of the experiencers accounts) , in a way that cuts out all distracting text, would not only be of interest to NDE customers but also formed a type of proof (a type I will just call "common sense") . I have broken down the anonymous posts/accounts (I have website permission in writing) of 462 individuals (Limited use via Fair Use for research) into 4,147 lines of data that capture the essence of the account. While customers will internalize the nuggets of information for themselves, I help the process by pointing out 31 common aspects I found and they can look for them in those 462 cases. This data is not, purposefully, in a narrative form. Why I wrote this book (and the others) : (1) NDE experiencers will benefit from (and enjoy) an abundance of similar accounts, a kinship. I want to give experiencers a bigger voice. This may be for their own satisfaction (or sanity!) but also (2) prove valuable to their desires relative to unbelieving circle of family and friends. They can now let them read the book or purchase one as a gift and have it act as independent validation without the need for them to "find the nuggets" deep in narratives of accounts (it took hundreds of hours to extract the important text out of the full accounts) . (3) to be a source of comfort to those that have had a recent loss and finally (4) to supply a source of comfort to those in hospice or facing a life threatening condition Please note: The personal NDE accounts are essentially "as posted" anonymously on the internet. As such you are guaranteed to find grammar, punctuation and spelling issues. You are encouraged to overlook those and take in the individuals message itself. Text in parenthesis (example) are my inserts to try and clarify a statement or set up the conditions for the reader, they were not in original account.
