Even Platform a novel by Arif Hosein

A recently naturalized US citizen returns to the Caribbean and attempts to rescue a helpless woman from a desperate situation. Arif Hosein is exploring off the grid living while vacationing in Trinidad. When his finances start to dwindle, his family offers him work at an Islamic Residential Care facility. Arif, a millennial and a recent college graduate, has a hard time in readjusting his modern mindset to the traditional expectations of his family. At the job, he takes a liking to one of the workers. His family intensely disapproves and takes unethical measures to end the relationship. Arif is forced into rebellion after he realizes the hypocrisy in his authoritatively religious family.
