Hometown Hero: A Sparky Rosen Baseball Novel

Hometown Hero is the third in a series of novels telling the story of Mike "Sparky" Rosen, the brash young second baseman who jumped directly from Class AA to Big League stardom with his hometown Pittsburgh Pirates in the first book of the series, Phenom. Rosen's second season, chronicled in Warning Track Power, was also outstanding. But the next two years fell far short of expectations, and now Rosen and his teammates know that if they don't soon produce, they will probably be playing somewhere else next year.
