The class specializes in prayer shawls (patterns and instruction included), which are designed to give emotional comfort, much like Macomber's books.
There's Lydia, the proprietor of the store along with her sister, Margaret. Their mother is failing, and for once, Lydia is not the first to notice. Margaret's daughter, Julia, becomes the victim of a carjacking, but it's the aftermath that seems the hardest -- neither Margaret nor Julia can deal with it.
