Time travel adventures continue in the sixth book of "The Missing" series; Jonah and his younger sister, Katherine, are transported to Russia, 1918, to rescue the Romanov family from their execution. The time travel device, Elucidator, has been modified to have minimal capabilities, adding tension to an already stressful situation. Jonah, Katherine, and their friend, Chip, struggle to keep themselves alive while attempting to stop the murder of the Romanov family, especially Anastasia and Alexei. Escaped convicts, Gary and Hodge, are the instigators for time travel mishaps, forcing the kids to toggle back and forth from past to future.
