Our creation, who we are and what is meant by our existence, is a mercurial ponderance at best, within the collective mind of mankind. However, as far as the creator is concerned, our reason and purpose has not changed and that is to decide which forces should rule heaven. Through coercion, the devil will steer the angels to reveal the meaning of life to one man alone, Sabastian Whitney. By the advent of this man, humankind will come face to face with its entire annihilation with religious unrest and the beginnings of world war three. However, also through this one man, can the world be rescued from the wanton destruction by Satan but only if the Archangel Michael can convince him in time. This man is the vessel by which the devil forces the angels into submission, and sways the governing and control of heaven into his hands. The story begins innocently enough; pressured by his girlfriend, Sarah, into a family life he is not yet ready to undertake. Goaded by her persistence and his own unwillingness to commit, Sabastian leaves Sarah and, unwittingly, begins on a journey through mind, heart and soul. A journey that reveals the temptations of Satan and the manipulations of the benevolent angels, a perception altering battle of the mind hidden beneath the conceptual states of what is considered to be the pre-ordained and freewill, washing away the awareness that good and evil actually exist. Eve and the high priest Eliakim at the time of the prophet Isaiah as well as our beloved St Valentine, all part of an elaborate plan to end at Sabastian, Satan's final bastion against the Archangels. Vexed with the convincing of the angels and the taunting of the devil, Sabastian must discover who he is to remain sane amidst the struggle between the forces that be. Through the journey, Sarah finds Sabastian again and Sabastian discovers that, no matter what the outcome of the most powerful proponents of existence, his reality is not heavenly but here, and after all the moments of enlightenment, he begins to realize his reality is her. And Sarah shows him there is only one total truth from above, and that is pure reverent love.
