The Old Wolves

Another good western by Peter Brandvold. Most of his have been very good and this one is no exception. Spurr Morgan is a Deputy US Marshal with a bad heart. He goes on one last assigment. It is supposed to be an easy one but turns out to be anything but. He is to bring back his old partner, turned outlaw, Boomer Drago as a prisoner. But Boomer's old gang is after him. There is lots of action, lots of shooting and a young girl named Greta that adds a lot to the story. Spurr may be old but there is a lot of fire and grit left in the old body. A great, feel good western read full of surprises and has a very good ending. If you like a fast action western with lots of twist and turns you will like this one. Read more
