After missing her debut broadcast and ending up in jail, WBFD-TV's newest anchor, Aspen Wicklow, is assigned to determine whether midnight screams coming from local landmark Kirk House are an urban legend or something more sinister. Visiting the burned-out shell where two wealthy brothers had been murdered, Aspen encounters a young Goth who turns out to be an undercover cop. Connecting the dots with her case leads Aspen into a life-and-death situation.
