Best eBook guide to Argentina as of December 2013

I don't like lugging around paper books given that I have a phone, a tablet, and a dedicated reader, all of which can consume ebooks. So I downloaded sample versions of the Argentina guides. Some lacked images, others had broken or bad navigation. The Rough Guide was the only one that worked well. On tablets, the maps are in color and zoomable which is a nice plus. Content is good as well. I use these guides to get an idea of where to go as major destinations or side trips, and this book performed this role well. I was able to plan a rather fancy trip by reading it. It also provides decent suggestions for places to stay and eat. However, for hotels and restaurants I rely almost exclusively on TripAdvisor (since all hotels and bars have wifi) unless I have no internet connection which is when having this book was handy. Recommended. Read more
