Spelunkers deals with the fears and triumphs of the main characters, who have the same fears as a lot of kids today. Fear of the dark, the fear of heights the anguish of being overweight and not being excepted, shyness and being short to just name a few. The story tells of a day in the lives of four friends who live at the base of the Black Hills of South Dakota. It follows their trek into the hills in search of adventure.
