great intro to VBA

If you don't know where to start with Excel VBA, this book is very helpful. Don't mistake the beginning for the end: this book points you in the right direction, but it can't help you MASTER VBA. If you follow the directions, you will learn how to start exploring the world of VBA and how to teach yourself--this book is only meant to give you the framework to hang later learnings upon. Overall, very clear, a well-thought-out sequence, and I LOVED the intro to "object oriented programming." Ignore reviews complaining that the book didn't tell them how to do this or that particular thing. The purpose is to get you oriented, and to empower you to start looking for other resources to solve this or that particular problem. The book does a marvelous job in outlining the main points of what Excel VBA is all aobut. Read more
