Romeo loves Juliet. Or Rosaline. And Juliet loves Romeo. Or Viola. Or Orlando. It's Shakespeare as you've never played him before.

In this choose-your-own-path version of Romeo and Juliet, you choose where the story goes every time you read! What if Romeo never met Juliet? What if Juliet got really buff instead of moping around the castle all day? What if they teamed up to take over Verona with robot suits? Whatever your adventure, you're guaranteed to find lots of romance, lots of epic fight scenes, and plenty of questionable decision-making by very emotional teens.

All of the endings - there are over a hundred - feature beautiful illustrations by some of the greatest artists working today, including New York Times bestsellers Kate Beaton, Noelle Stevenson, Randall Munroe, and Jon Klassen.

Packed with exciting choices, fun puzzles, secret surprises, terrible puns, and more than a billion possible storylines, Romeo and/or Juliet offers a new experience every time you read it. You can choose to play as Romeo or Juliet (obviously) but you can also play as both of them, or as Juliet's nurse, or, if you're good, you can even unlock a fourth playable character! That's right. We figured out how to have unlockable characters in books. Choose well, and you may even get to write the world's most awkward choose-your-own sex scene.

Chose your own review...Not as good as the book, Amazon.

"Cool. Amazon has a little thing to help me plan out a review. Awesome! Let's see. First question...'How would you describe the plot of this book? Predictable/Some Twists/Full of Surprises?' Well, I'm choosing the plot...so predictable, but the consequences of my choices are often surprising, and I am sometimes surprised by what I choose. CURSE YOU! Fortunately, such false dichotomies are not forced on my by Romeo and/or Juliet..." "OK, next question. 'Which of these words best describes the mood? Hopeful, Dark, Nostalgic, Light-hearted, Suspenseful, Thoughtful.' I can actually become Juliet's glove, which is pretty trippy and thoughtful. But...The Nurse Quest game is pretty nostalgic for the text-games of my youth. The original plot is about suicidal teens making terrible life choices. Can't I say, 'Yes, these are all words that best describe this book?' No? Man. 0 for 2 Amazon Pick Your Own Review. So far, you're losing terribly to Ryan's book." "Third question: 'How would you describe the pace? Slow, Steady, Fast' I'm going to go with fast, only because I can generally make a new decision pretty quickly and I read fast. But if slow or steady wins your race, then you do you. Hey, that's not too bad, Amazon! 1 for 3. But...RA/OJ is still winning." "OK, Amazon. This is the last question. 'How would you describe the characters? One-dimensional, Developed, Complex?' Amazon, here's the thing. It's up to you. If you think that it's more fun for Romeo to literally spend the entire story pining for Rosaline, and being a terrible, boring guy, you can do that. Me, I went a little off the rails on several of my reads. So my Romeo is Complex. Ish. I mean, he's still a teen-ager who falls in love with literally every woman he meets who isn't the nurse, but he does flip between waxing poetic and using more modern speech as my fancy takes me." "All in all, RA/OJ is way better than this Chose your own Review story. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Read more
