never boring
I know some who are tired of this series because the basic theme is repeated throughout the entire series; but can never tire of this series. It is well written and sexually tense and very very hot. The basic theme is that each of the Breed find their mates, willingly or not, whether they given in completely or in pieces, the need for the mating to be complete is the drive of the main couple in each story. I love to see the strong males break and give into the instinct to love and be loved. The same goes for the strong modern day females that these males mate with. It is awesome to watch (read or listen too) how this couple completes its mating. To me it’s an eventuality they will get there, but the how they get there is the fascinating part to me. And OMG the sex is too hot. I don’t think I could ever grow tired or bored with these books. Rule met her one horrific night, although his animal recognized her as his mate, he didn’t. The animal developed a sneaky trait, making sure that Rule couldn’t run from her until it was too late. I really did think Rule was going to put up more of a fight; I was surprised that he gave in so easily to having a mate. He never wanted a mate, this was his solution to never placing her in danger, and preventing her death, since he was unable to prevent his mother’s. Gypsy Rum is a pistol, attitude with a mission! She wants him and knows it can come at a great price for her. Everything she has strived for in the nine years since her beloved older brother was murdered in front of her very eyes can be lost if she gives into Rule. Dane, needs a spanking, and I would so love to deliver it. Dane plays role in the capitulation of their mating and the events that follow. I found this book adventurous and sexually titillating and a definite must read in the Breed Series. Brianna Bronte does a grand job with the narration. She flows with the different accents and can change the tone from male to female and from different personalities. Wonder...
