Raven's Wrens: Wren's Week

This is book two of the Raven's Wren's trilogy. The complete book is about the wrens of HMS Raven spending a week away from the ship with various people around California, Hawaii and Canada and the adventures they have during that week. Each chapter is a short story of one particular wren. It follows on from Book One by describing in detail each of the 17 wrens aboard the ship as well as the petty officer who is in charge of them. The adventures include a prison breakout, fire on a cotton farm, a deadly snow storm, horse stealing and the haunting onboard the Queen Mary, to name but a few. Throut all the adventures, all the girls are in touch with the petty officer by pressing a switch on a pager. Only to be used when in trouble. Quite a few of the girls have to use the switch.
