The Spirit Sword was forged of magic infused steel, thirst for power, and treachery, and finding it may be the only way for a young squire to save his village, and perhaps garner the favor of the knight and king he serves. However, such quests are very dangerous, but at only sixteen seasons old, Jerrar is well studied, well trained and very confident. He is determined that nothing will stop him from completing the quest to find the Spirit Sword, use it to save his village and collect the rewards for doing so, and not forest bandits, a hungry wyvern, or even a lost tribe of gnomes will stand in his way. But an unexpected travelling companion just might.
