This story takes place in the vast Mediterranean area, occupied mostly by humanity. The forest is suffocated by the constant cutting of trees and the expansion of agricultural land. Fires, pesticides and over-hunting have decimated the wild animal population, putting some at risk of extinction. Fortunately, there are still some protected areas ... In the forest, a family of rabbits, mother and four bunnies, live quietly in their den. The mother teaches them how to survive in the forest, but one of the bunnies is reluctant to listen to the teachings. One morning, two hunters appear in the forest, forcing their inhabitants to flee their dwellings. In the rush of escape, the most rebellious rabbit child accidentally ends up being left behind and captured without his mother being able to stop him. A tribute to all the lost and estranged children taken from their families during the wars.
