Welcome to the Extraordinary World of Failure!Aquiles Castañeda BohmerI started writing this book to fulfill 25 years of living for communication media.In August 2018, I received an invitation from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua to present the students and talk about my experience in public and private television in Mexico.During the last twenty-one years of my life, conferences in the universities of Coahuila, Baja California, Chihuahua and Mexico City; in each exercise, I ended up giving the recommendations to the students, so that we can have better expectations at the end of their studies.We invite you to go out and experiment in the medium where it will be watched in the future, inviting you to take a turn before it is possible, to lose the fear of presence in an increasingly competitive and saturated sector, a medium in which The good posts abound.I made an effort to emphasize my personal experience, it could not be, under any circumstance, a "recipe" for the success or failure of someone else.At the University of Barcelona, which has been structured in a new conference and this book is not to talk about success, because the market of success gurus is saturated!The title of the conference came to my mind almost immediately: Welcome to the Extraordinary World of Failure!This world in which we had to live and travel, we will experience the error, the fall, and the failure, because the world of failure is surprising and unpredictable.I had many more failures in my history than successes, so I am familiar with the term and all the sensations it produces, but also, I realized that each of those failures written in my story, made me the human being and the professional that I am now.The world of failure is extraordinary because it works as a teacher and as a growth engine for oneself and for others when they are capable of learning in someone else's head.There are parts of my life that connect us and make us similar, failure gives us identity, involves us and makes us accomplices."Welcome to the Extraordinary World of Failure!" Is a very personal work, an exercise of liberation in which I make public some of the worst mistakes of my life, I ventilate them with the intention of getting rid of the heavy burden they could represent, but I also expose them to make them laugh and to generate the empathy that dialogue and reflection require.Through this book, I want to transmit all the professional experience of my life and my time, to young people, entrepreneurs, businessmen, parents, students and to each person who has the opportunity to reflect on an almost taboo subject; a subject that hurts us, embarrasses us and, sometimes, paralyzes us.I want each person who reads, manages to understand failure as a companion, ally and teacher and that, even failing, we can aspire to be happy.Welcome to the Extraordinary World of Failure!
