My book is my memoir. It highlights the ups and downs of living with kidney disease. I think it could appeal to readers of all ages. It is filled with gratitude and hope. It illustrates that life after receiving a transplant (or two) is a wonderful journey. I would love to have a positive impact on the donor rate in Canada by people reading my book. This is an important message. It is also a reflection of the "normalcy" that can be achieved after receiving the gift of life (a transplant) . My kids are both truly miracles and their stories, as they relate to mine, need to be shared as well.
