History of a Six Weeks' Tour

The account of the two trips that the Shelleys took. The first happened in 1814 and took the couple (and Mary's sister) through France, Switzerland, Germany, and Holland. The second occurred in 1816 and covers the time period when Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein. The book includes: mules, asses, horses, and wolves, but no bears. The Monkfish Jowls Edition of this text includes an afterward by K.M.H. and a note on the etext by John S. Wolfskim.
