In Oddball, a farcically funny chapter book for middle grade readers, meddling big sister, Priscilla, convinces Oliver Bloom and his brothers that they're "the biggest oddballs in the world" for believing a swallowed grape seed can grow grapevines in your belly. When she bets her brothers three weeks worth of chores that they can't find bigger oddballs than themselves, the spirited boys set out to prove Priscilla wrong. Armed with a notepad, a camera, a flashlight and a full supply of sheer determination, the Bloom brothers venture off in search of the most outlandish characters in all of Huckleberry Park. Three bona fide oddballs eventually rise to the surface . but are they wacky enough to withstand Priscilla's pickiness and win the bet for the Bloom boys?
