Thomas Hard wrote the novel Jude the Obscure. It is Hardy's final book that is complete. Jude Fawley, the book's protagonist, is a young stonemason from the working class who aspires to be a scholar. Sue Bridehead, who is also his main love interest, is the other key character and also his cousin. In particular, class, education, religion, morality, and marriage are discussed in the book.
