Published annually, the J. Paul. Getty Museum Journal is a compendium of articles and notes pertaining to the Museum's permanent collections of antiquities, decorative arts, drawings, illuminated manuscripts, paintings, photographs, and sculpture. Each volume includes an introduction by JohnWalsh, director of the Museum, and a fully illustrated checklist of the previous year's acquisitions.
