As Mouse explains, the gruffalo is a creature with terrible claws, and terrible tusks in its terrible jaws, and knobbly knees and turned-out toes, and a poisonous wart at the end of its nose. Fun, Smart, Well-Written, and Has a Great Message/Lesson
Fun, Smart, Well-Written, and Has a Great Message/Lesson I've read my 19-month-old daughter 2-5 books a day and this one was by far one of her favorites. She has become a fan of longer, more complex stories and the Gruffalo has become a wonderfully fun, smart, well-written, and well-loved addition to our book collection alongside Pete the Cat! My daughter requests this over and over again...which is great because every re-reading or re-telling is rich and vibrant, with a great message and lesson at the end as well as fun little easter eggs to find on every page. Very fun, would buy this again! Read more
