Grade 4-6-Using photos of locations and paintings, this book describes Pueblo life before contact with Europeans. Each two-page chapter discusses specific aspects of the tribe's culture. Full-color pictures appear on almost every page. Those that have captions repeat information provided within the text. The Web sites listed, while informative and useful, may be a little advanced for this age group. There are no maps to show readers where the Pueblo people live, and no bibliography is included.
