Small Rabbit and Big Rabbit are out walking on a very windy day. When Small Rabbit starts trailing behind, Big Rabbit cries out, "Try to keep up." But her words are lost in the howling wind, and Small Rabbit thinks that he hears, "Jump in the mud." So he jumps in the mud! As their hike continues, Small Rabbit does everything he thinks he is being asked to do. The trouble is, he never hears what Big Rabbit is really saying.
