Grade 7-10–These volumes offer historical, geographical, and cultural information as well as observations about contemporary lifestyles and issues. In general the writing is clear; at times it is lively, but in some places dry. King's is the better book with only a few typos. Knowlton uses a more demanding vocabulary and is occasionally repetitive. The biggest problem with Albania is that it has serious errors in some of its captions. For example, one photo is described as Muslim men in Albania praying with rosaries in a mosque. Another caption identifies a photo as a billboard with text in the Albania language of Shqip, but the one that is shown is in French. In another case, a mural is said to pay tribute to Albania's workforce, although it depicts armed people from different centuries, all ready to defend the motherland.
