Some unfamiliar terms are defined in a brief glossary; others-and their definitions-are arbitrarily selected to appear in the lower right-hand corner of the page. Each title contains a very simplistic "experiment" (for example, excavation of "fossil" chocolate chips from a cookie, in Stegosaurus).
