The Christmas Snowlights

The Christmas Snowlights is Eleanore Tashenberg's retelling of the story of the Nativity. Two small but perceptive creatures, named Marcy and Pud, a mead owl ark and a pika (a tin y rabbit) , try to find their way to the stable where the Christ child is to be born. Along the way, the two experience the rapture of a very wondrous night, as they discover some snowlights and come to learn their meaning. A book for pre-schoolers that teaches the value of friendship and sharing, as well as the power of God's love and caring, this is a story which the author describes as "theology in allegory."
