MAC Chemistry Explorer, Student Edition

This text-independent software allows students to build their own experiments from the ground up. Students build the experiments from among five differentmodels: kinetics, gas, laws, the atom, electrochemistry, and chemical equilibrium. For their experiments, they set the initial conditions, alter the parameters, and compare the results with their prediction, testing hypotheses. Spreadsheets and graphs enhance the software, as students learn actively and develop scientific intuition.
