I love Larry Gonicks books, especially on science and economy, amazing explanations filled with brilliant humor. History of the US is surprisingly disturbing- it feels like it’s a book on slavery rather than American history. Did anyone else feel the same?

It does feel that way. In fact it’s a bit weird it’s so over the top.

The comics are written in the style of political cartoons. I found the story easy to follow and learned somethings about our government system that I didn't remember from high school. A great gift for the history teacher or history fan in your life. Read more
